Commercial Park Advisory CouncilChicago Park District online registration begins today at 9am. Make sure you get into the programs you are hoping for and get them into your wishlist now! It makes checking out much quicker. Also, remember tot/preschool programs at Commercial Park (like soccer and playgroup) are limited to online registration and they tend to fill up quickly so don’t delay.

Our next event to benefit the parks is a wine tasting at Broken Art on Chicago Avenue. This is going to be a fantastic night with friends and neighbors. Please email cpacevents@gmail.com for information, reservations or to help spread the word. 
Join your neighbors for a beautiful night under the stars. Pack a picnic and stake your spot in the field. Friday night is movie night at Commercial Park. This event is free for everyone and is a great way to enjoy a summer night. Call the park for any details to help in your planning.
We hope you will join us for the July Commercial Park Advisory Council Meeting Tuesday night at 7:30pm. We will review and update all the events at the park as well as hold the 2010 Board Nominations. This years positions that are open for nominations are President, Treasurer and Publicist. We will also be looking for a replacement secretary as Andrea Newman has moved out of the neighborhood. If you are interested in getting more involved this is the perfect opportunity. The commitment is for 1-2 hours a month, so you can make it work! Working with Kathy Hamada and the rest of the wonderful staff at Commercial is a rewarding way to spend your time. Below are brief descriptions of the duties of each board member. We hope you will join us at 7:30 in the Commercial Park fieldhouse.
