The air is juuuuuust a bit too wildfire-y for an outdoor movie this evening, so our showing of Superman has been moved to September. And I’m now alone in the house with a lot of Milk Duds…
THURSDAY, JULY 16th at dusk (8:30ish)
Bring your blankets, chairs, and bug spray and join us for SUPERMAN (2025)! Free popcorn provided by the Park District; drinks and other snacks will be available for purchase, benefitting programs and parties at Commercial.
Presented by the Chicago Park District and underwritten by the Commercial Park Advisory Council. We

Join us on Saturday, March 28th, at Commercial Park for our Annual (chaos) Egg Hunt! There will be three different hunt times:
*10:00 a.m.- Kids 0-2
*10:30 a.m.- Kids 3-5
*11:00 a.m. – Kids 6-10
There will also be crafts and the best (Instagrammable) bunny in town. Special thanks to Alderman Gilbert Villegas for your wonderful support as always. See you there!
Didn’t get to see Zootopia 2 before the Oscars? Now’s your chance! Grab your blankets, chairs, and swamp buggies and join us on Friday, March 20th in the Commercial Park gym.
Movie starts at 6 p.m.; gym doors open at 5:30. The movie is, as always, FREE! (We will, of course, have concessions for purchase.)
Put on your Hawaiian shirts and flower leis and join us in the gym on Friday, February 27th at 6:00 p.m. for Lilo & Stitch (2025 version)! Concessions will be available for purchase.
Please do not pull a Stitch and destroy the gym. We like our gym.
