Commercial Park Advisory CouncilCommercial Park will begin a free drop-in art program beginning Monday 4/25 at 4:15-5:00. 2nd and 4th Mondays will be for the younger artist set – 6 and under. 1st and 3rd Monday’s will be for older artists – 7+ and really geared towards the 10year-old – so hopefully some serious art will come of this. Stay tuned as Nicole, our art instructor volunteer, will start promoting what projects are coming down the pipeline!
Please attend the Advisory Committee Meeting Tuesday, April 19 at 7:30 in the field house. All are welcome!

Saturday’s Earth Day program will go on – but we may have limited indoor space available so dress warm. Besides cleaning the parks and neighborhood, if you are interested in helping out, please post a reply here. Even an hour would be great. In addition to kids’ activities beginning at 10:30 after the park and neighborhood clean up, we have generously been donated hot dog lunch by Alderman Moreno and Vienna Beef and there will be prizes from Christy Webber and the park advisory council. So should be a good time that you can feel good about. Hope see you in the parks Saturday!
