Winter Coat Drive

From November 15th until December 30th, the Commercial Park Advisory Council will be collecting new and gently used winter coats and gear to share with those in our community who are in need. A donation box is located in the entrance to the Commercial Park Field House. It’s a great time to clear out all the too-small kid stuff and the Orolay Amazon coat from five years ago!

Halloween Party at the Park!

Our annual Halloween Party and Parade will take place on Saturday, October 29th from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 p.m. We will have treats, games, crafts, and, of course, our costume trick or treat parade around the block!

If you’d like to volunteer to help out at the party, or with CPAC in general, please email us!

If you are a local vendor or business who would like to host an activity or craft table at the event, or hand out candy along the parade route, please email us!

If you just want to tell us we are awesome- well, we think you’re awesome too. Please email us!

Blocktoberfest 2022!

Blocktoberfest is here! This Saturday, September 24th between noon and 4 p.m., take a break from West Town Chicago’s Art Walk and join us at Commercial Park for some neighborhood fun. We will have food from noon until 2 p.m. and an ice cream truck from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m. There will be games, balloon art, entertainment, and (drumroll please) the Bounce House.

Suggested donation $10 per family; everything goes to the Commercial Park Advisory Council so we can keep supporting Commercial Park (and keep having fab parties!)
