The Chicago Park District Movies in the Park program presents “Puss in Boots: The Last Wish” on Saturday, July 22nd at Commercial Park. The movie will start around 8:15 p.m. (or whenever sunset allows.). Bring a blanket and bug spray and join us for the show!
Want to meet your neighbors, support our local parks, and get a free lunch out of it? Join us for the West Town Neighborhood Earth Day Clean-Up! On Saturday, April 22nd from 10:00 a.m. unit noon we will be mulching and sprucing up Honore, Snowberry and Superior playlots, and cleaning up the surrounding streets. Please start at Commercial Park to sign waivers and pick up cleaning supplies, and then head out to spread some clean-up love around our neighborhood! All volunteers are welcome back to Commercial Park at noon for lunch from The StopAlong sponsored by the Commercial Park Advisory Council.
Join us on Saturday, April 1st (no fooling!) for our annual Egg hunt! There will be three age-based hunt times:
*10:00 a.m.: Kids 0-2 years old
*10:30 a.m.: Kids 3-5 years old
*11:00 a.m.: Kids 6-10 years old
We will have crafts and stories and maybe an appearance by a Bunny or two! The event will take place rain or shine (but hope for shine!) See you there!
