The next session of Green Team Growers will be held on Monday, June 17th, at 4 p.m. at Snowberry Playlot. The topic will be butterflies! Hope to see you there!

Please join us on Monday, June 3 at 4pm for our next session of Green Team Grower at Snowberry Playlot. We’ll be studying insects and painting rocks to make them look like insects. The paints are acrylic so be sure to have children wear clothes that won’t mind a spot or two!

Green Team Growers starts May 20!
The sun is shining and the weather is warming. That means it is time to start the Green Team Growers program back up!
The first session will be on Monday, May 20, 2019 at 4PM at Snowberry playlot. The topic of the first session will be seeds, and the children will be helping to plant grow boxes.
A big thank you to the Chicago Grand Neighbors Association for the grant-donation to help offset the costs of this program. Your support is greatly appreciated!

Earth Day Clean-up!
Just a reminder, our Earth Day Clean-Up is this Saturday, April 27th, from 9 a.m. until noon! We will be cleaning up Commercial Park and our three pocket parks: Honore, Superior and Snowberry. There will be a thank you BBQ at Commercial Park for all volunteers after!

Yoga on Wednesday this week
This week, Yoga in the Park will be held on Wednesday, April 24th at 6:45 p.m. in the community room at the Commercial Park field house. We will return to our regular Thursday evenings the following week (May 2nd at 6:45). If you haven’t attended one of our fabulous yoga classes yet, now is a great time!
