IT’S HALLOWEEN!!!!!

Mark your calendars for Saturday, October 25th, from 2:00 p.m. until 3:30 for our annual Halloween Party at the Park! Games, crafts, music, and our fabulous trick-or-treat parade around the block. Might even add a haunted house this year….

Hope you can join us!

We are excited to announce the Commercial Park inaugural .5k “race” around the block! (Snappy, fake-trademarked event name TBD). A “race” with our littlest patrons in mind, participants will follow a course around a city block complete with “fueling” stations, and a medal at the end. Stay at the park for a victory lap at our annual Blocktoberfest from 12-4. More details below- please follow this link to register. (Registration not required but highly appreciated!)

CONSTRUCTION IS UNDERWAY!!

As of September 8, 2025, the Commercial Park playground and field will be closed for at least the next two weeks. The basketball court is open (for now) as well as the field house & gym- enter the field house from the parking lot off Wolcott.

We are excited to announce phase two of construction for The New and Improved Commercial Park is scheduled to begin within the next two weeks. Once construction has started, please expect limited park availability through the end of July (2025, lest you think we are on the same time schedule as the Kennedy).

Please bear with us as we don’t have exact dates for everything yet, and we don’t know what parts of the park will be closed off at what times. It’s safe to say if you are planning to head to Commercial Park for the next two months, check here or call the park in advance. We will share as much information as we have.

NOTE: This will NOT AFFECT SUMMER CAMPS. Summer Camp is still happening. Do not panic.

CPAC GENERAL MEETINGS: Starting this month, Commercial Park Advisory Council meetings will be held on the SECOND Monday of the month at 6:30 p.m. (This is a change from meetings on the third Monday of the month.)
