The Commercial Park Advisory Council thanks you for making our first Circus in the Parks a huge success!  Our community was out in full force with enthusiastic cheers and great participation for all four shows this weekend.  Proceeds from the Circus in the Parks’ entire run will be split among participating parks.  CPAC will use our share for improvements at Snowberry and Superior Playlot.

Join the Commercial Park Advisory Council for our next meeting on Tuesday, October 18 at 7:30 in the Commercial Park Field House!  Meet your neighbors and help bring more fun and exciting events to your park.  Below is the agenda for 10/18/11:

As the weather turns colder, you can continue to enjoy the company of your neighbors at Commercial Park’s ongoing programs and seasonal events.  Don’t forget:

– Art on Mondays at 4:15pm

– Storytime on Thursdays at 4:30pm

– Adult Yoga on Thursdays at 6:30pm

– Circus in the Parks October 15 and 16

– Halloween Party October 29 at 2pm

Friends of Snowberry has been very active and invites you to join them!

On July 31, Friends of Snowberry gathered for ice cream and to paint the park!   Snowberry’s toddlers released worms into the compost bins last week, and invite you to contribute your kitchen scraps.  The last Green Growers gathering at Snowberry will be on August 16, when families will be invited to harvest the garden’s bounty.

Summer is in full swing at all of our parks!  Remember to join us for Green Team Growers, Preschool Story Time, fun with our water features and playground equipment and the company of your neighbors!  Also, watch our events page for upcoming special events.
