Commercial Park Advisory CouncilGreen Team Growers is back and starts April 20th at Snowberry Park
Like last year – it will alternate between Snowberry (2nd and 4th weeks of the month) and at Commercial Park (1st and 3rd weeks) at 4pm.
Also great news — Snowberry Community Garden has been awarded a grant from the Chicago Parks Foundation and Peoples Gas! This funding will help with Green Team Growers as well as the scheduled get-togethers of the Friends for cleanups.
Remember to take advantage of the many free programs that the Commercial Park Advisory Council hosts year-round:
– Free drop-in art on Mondays (child & caregiver)
– Yoga on Thursdays
– Storytime on Thursdays

On Thursday, May 19, kids and adults alike delighted in a special-guest reader for our regular Thursday story time: Mr. Caleb from our new West Town Library! Caleb was so impressed by the enthusiastic attendance and participation at story time. Remember – story time happens each Thursday at 4:30, either inside or outside, depending on the weather. Please plan to attend, and post a reply if you’re interested in being a volunteer reader!
