The Commercial Park Advisory Council

WHO WE ARE

The Commercial Park Advisory Council (yes, “CPAC”, but not to be confused with a political action anything!) represents the community that uses Commercial Park and the Snowberry, Honore and Superior Playlots. The council is an all-volunteer, non‐ profit group of neighbors working to build a community for all.
CPAC was formed in July of 2000 to work with the Chicago Park District in order to obtain what is needed for our shared park spaces. We work closely with the park supervisor and staff to meet the needs, desires and concerns of the community. We are members of Friends of the Parks, West Town Chamber of Commerce, the Greater West Town Community Coalition, and the Commercial Park Garden Club.

Anyone who cares about Commercial Park and the Snowberry, Honore & Superior Playlots can be a member of the advisory council. Please join us for a meeting!

WE NEED YOU
The Commercial Park Advisory Council is always looking for new volunteers to contribute ideas, suggestions, and time. The advisory council sponsors all types of free community building events such as the annual Halloween and Holiday party. We need volunteers at all our events, gardeners to keep our gardens growing, and help with fundraisers to continue improving our parks. Please stop by the park, email us, or just stop by one of our meetings!

Meetings

The Commercial Park Advisory Council meets on the third Monday of every month at 6:30.  Currently, meetings are remote, so if you would like to attend, please email us for the meeting link.

Join us and find out what’s happening at the parks and how you can help!
